Conclusion:

Based on the analysis of responses from 5 coaches, with an average coaching experience of 15.6 years, it is concluded that the ideal somatotype for judo is Mesomorph. The data reveals that coordination is the most critical attribute for success in this sport, comprising 20% of the necessary skills, followed closely by speed reaction at 17%. Balance (15%) and power (15%) are also significant, while flexibility accounts for 12% and agility for 10%. Muscle endurance is the least critical attribute at 11%.

In terms of body proportions, the majority of coaches indicated that arm and torso lengths are not important (3 each), while 2 coaches noted a preference for normal arms and torsos. For leg length, 2 coaches preferred long legs, while 3 considered leg length not important.

Therefore, the ideal athlete for judo is characterized by a mesomorphic physique with a strong emphasis on coordination and speed reaction, alongside predominantly normal proportions, with a preference for long legs but variability in arm and torso lengths deemed less critical by the coaches.
